Todd is the founder, President and CEO of Long Term Care Insurance Advisors, LLC an independent agency that he established for the purpose of specializing in Long-Term Care insurance.  He is a native of Columbia, South Carolina and is married with two children.  He is a graduate from the University of South Carolina and has been a professional in the insurance industry since 1992.  He was a top producer and district manager for one of the nation’s leading insurance companies.  His extensive background includes long-term care insurance, life insurance, individual and group health insurance, Medicare supplements, annuities and investments.  After writing his first Long-Term Care insurance policy in 1998, he decided to specialize in Long-Term Care insurance.  In order to provide his clients with access to all of the major insurance carriers, and provide unbiased comparisons of their products, policy provisions and rate structures, he established his first independent agency in 1999.  He hosted a radio show on News Talk 1320 WIS for many years in the Columbia area that dealt with issues involving Long-Term Care.  He currently speaks as a guest on radio shows and to professional and community groups, and uses both his professional knowledge and personal experiences to provide insurance planning and advice to individuals, families, attorneys, CPAs and financial planners.

LTCP - The Long-Term Care Professional (LTCP) designation signifies exceptional achievement. Developed jointly by America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) and the American Association for Long-Term care Insurance (AALTCI), the goal for the LTCP designation is a program recognized as the benchmark of knowledge and professionalism in the field.

CSA - The Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) designation is the leading professional credential for persons seeking to work more effectively with their senior clients. The CSA designation signifies that designees have acquired broad-based knowledge of the health, social and financial issues that are important to the majority of seniors, and recognize how the dynamics of these factors work in seniors' lives. Professionals from many walks of life have added the CSA designation to their credentials. They’ve learned how incredibly gratifying it is to help seniors achieve their goals, and the seniors they’ve helped have learned how important it is to work with someone who truly understands their age-related circumstances. CLTC - The "Certified in Long-Term Care" (CLTC) program is the long-term care insurance industry's only independent professional designation. Created in 1999, the course is focused on the field of long-term care planning and provides legal, accounting, insurance and financial service professionals the critical tools necessary to address the subject matter with their middle-age clients. The goal is to teach students how to create a plan that preserves the emotional, physical, and financial wellbeing of a client's family should care be necessary. Once established, options to fund that plan, including, Medicare, Medicaid, the Veterans Administration, self-funding and long-term care insurance, are reviewed and recommended where appropriate.
